Tiger Tower is a small, narrow formation located between Pingora and Wolf’s Head in the Cirque of the Towers. The south face of the mountain is visible from the meadows of the Cirque.
Tiger Tower is largely forgotten among its “classic” neighbors, but the small peak does have some worthwhile climbing terrain and stellar views from its summit.
Tiger Tower is typically climbed as an approach to Wolf’s Head's east ridge or as part of a Pingora/Wolf’s Head traverse.
For parties not interested in technical climbing, Tiger Tower offers a manageable scramble in superb alpine terrain.
