Storm Point is located among a gathering of spires just north of Cascade Canyon. The most popular spire in this area is Symmetry Spire, closely followed by Storm Point. Located in the middle of these two summits is Ice Point.
Strom Point provides two popular routes to its summit. The first is a 4 class scramble up the west face. The second is a 40-pitch technical route up the south face. Few climbers attempt the entire 40-pitch face, rather they focus on the first 5 pitches, named "Guide's Wall".
Guide's Wall, together with the summit of Storm Point, provides some of the most stunning mountain views in the entire Teton Range. The most stunning features are the north aspects of Teewinot, Grand Teton, and Mount Owen, and the south aspect of Symmetry Spire. The view is truly breathtaking!
Storm Point's "Guide's Wall" is regarded as one of the 50 Classic Teton Climbs.
