Mount Timpanogos, Utah
EcuadorUtahWashingtonWyomingArizonaColoradoCalifornia

White Baldy is a seldom-climbed, rugged peak in the Central Wasatch Mountains. The mountain's name is parallel with its appearance. White Baldy has substantial elevation above the tree line, and every foot of that elevation is coated in brilliant, white granite. Five lakes lie on the flanks of White Baldy making it a popular mountain for fishing, hiking, camping, and backcountry skiing; yet, very few people venture higher than the lakes, so White Baldy is also a great mountain for solitude. Another reason why White Baldy is so isolated is there are no trails that travel to its summit because of the rugged terrain.

White Baldy has four narrow ridges that travel to its summit. The North, West and East Ridges are composed of big walls, steep slopes and narrow ledges with high exposure on both sides. The South Ridge is the most technical route and provides a good challenge to the summit. This mountain is absolutely beautiful and is definitely one of our favorites in the Wasatch. Its central location in the Wasatch provides for amazing views with big mountains on all sides.
